2010 - 2015
Streams into Rivers
God’s love flowing into our community and city
By 2015 Trinity will have:
1. Created, in partnership with the whole church, three new expressions of ‘church’ beyond Trinity. These will be at the Great Park, in South Gosforth and wherever the Spirit directs. We will know we have achieved this by evidence of success.
2. An active membership of at least 500 who can tell their story and who see themselves as modern day ‘missionaries’. The membership will grow to 350 by the end of 2010, to 375 by the end of 2011, to 400 by the end of 2012, to 430 by the end of 2013, to 460 by the end of 2014, reaching at least 500 by the end of 2015.
3. Extended, when required, the building on the Ivy Road side to create extra accommodation to meet the needs of a developing Trinity community.
4. A mission-hearted pastoral staff team, which increases in number to equip and build up the congregation to step out on their spiritual journey and reach out to the community. Such a team will serve the purposes of God through Trinity and its developing vision. By the end of 2011 we hope the team will include a second pastoral worker, by the end of 2012 a family and youth worker, and by the end of 2013 a worship pastor.
