Trinity Youth Club
2009 – 2010
Friday nights at 7.30pm. We have: music, pool, table tennis, table football, an air hockey table, chess with giant chess pieces, dodge ball, volleyball and indoor football
It’s Friday, it’s 7.30 and it’s LOUD, (Loads Of Unrestrained Delight).
The Youth Club meets from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm every Friday evening except for school holidays.
We are open to all young people from the age of 11 until 16 and the nightly subscription is 40p. So please come along and see if you like it.
The Security and health of the members is uppermost in our minds of course so we will take a short record of contact, health and school details on the first evening a new member attends. We will then provide them with a more detailed Registration Form to take home for the parents or guardians to complete. It is important this completed form is returned to us when the member next attends.
The Club continues to flourish this year with numbers rising to just over 80 members and weekly attendance in the region of 40 – 50. Our activities include music, pool, table tennis, table football, an air hockey table, chess with giant chess pieces, dodge ball, volleyball and indoor football.
We still don’t have a Brazilian beach on which to play volleyball but the excellent facilities at Trinity are much appreciated.
Trinity Youth Club also runs a tuck shop at which members can buy sweets, fizzy drinks and bottled water.
It is inspiring, mixing with young people at such a challenging part of their development. These active young minds keep the leaders young at heart so if any adult wants to stay young forever and can spare the time on some Friday evenings please get in touch.
Helping me lead the club are Monica, Brian, Mary, Geoff, Derek, Rob, Sabina Lisa and Steve without whom all this would not be possible. When one or more of the regular team are unavailable I receive help from Verity, Fiona and Lorna.
