Safeguarding at Trinity

At Trinity Church & Centre, we are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people & adults at risk. This of course, includes good Health & Safety practice in all aspects of our work.

We want all our groups within Trinity to function safely and happily.

Trinity is committed to ensuring that everyone working with children, young people & adults at risk:

  • has DBS check (criminal records check)

  • is adequately trained & supervised

  • understands & follows Trinity’s safeguarding policy

Trinity has appointed Lucy Reid as Safeguarding co-ordinator and Rosemary Menzies as deputy.

At Trinity we take the safeguarding of children & vulnerable adults very seriously. We have a Safeguarding policy from the Methodist Church which is reviewed annually. Please ask in the office if you would like to see a copy, or view it as a pdf (which you can also download) by clicking this button...

If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable adult connected to Trinity you can always speak to our Safeguarding Co-ordinators. Contact the office for their details - 0191 285 6130
